The Ole Miss Rebels men's basketball team will look to ice its three-game losing streak on Saturday night when it travels to Columbia to battle the struggling Missouri Tigers.

The Rebels (19-9, 6-9 SEC) had a difficult February, winning just one of seven games, so a win over the Tigers (8-20, 0-15 SEC) would be a much-needed breath of fresh air for Ole Miss, regardless of Missouri's standing in the Southeastern Conference.

Dancing in March Madness feels too far out of reach at this point, but a trip to the NIT would not be the worst way to close out Ole Miss' first season under coach Chris Beard. A strong finish to the 2023-24 regular season would also help give the Rebels a moral boost ahead of the upcoming SEC Tournament.

PREGAME

The Rebels will be wearing their all-red uniform set versus the Tigers, and you can view that uniform reveal here. Senior guard Matthew Murrell leads the Rebels in scoring entering Saturday's game with 16.9 points per game.

FIRST HALF

1H U16 -- Mizzou won the opening tip, and took the lead quickly to start the game. Ole Miss is trailing the Tigers 12-11 at the U16 media timeout in the first half. The Rebels are hot on Mizzou's tail, as Ole Miss has made four of its last five attempts from the floor.

1H U12 -- The Rebels have taken a 18-15 lead over Mizzou at the second media timeout of the night. Ole Miss has made six of its last eight field goal attempts, and Matthew Murrell is the team's leading scorer with five points.

1H U8 -- Ole Miss continues to extend its lead over Mizzou thanks to a lengthy scoring drought from the Tigers. The Rebels are beating Missouri 27-18 at the U8 media timeout after managing to string together an impressive 14-2 scoring run. Unfortunately, Ole Miss has cooled down since, and has not scored in the last two and a half minutes.

1H U4 -- Things have worsened for the Tigers, as Ole Miss is now beating Missouri 35-18 at the final media timeout of the first period. Mizzou has not scored in the last four minutes, while the Rebels are currently riding an 8-0 scoring run.

HALF: Ole Miss 45, Missouri 26

SECOND HALF

2H U16 -- Ole Miss looks strong out the gate in the second half, and is still beating Missouri 51-35 at the U16 timeout. Matthew Murrell currently leads the Rebels in offensive production with 14 points on eight field goal attempts.

2H U12 -- Mizzou is trying to crawl back into this game, but Ole Miss is still beating the Tigers 55-43 at the U12 timeout in the second period. Matthew Murrell just sunk two free throws to give him 16 points in 27 minutes of play.

2H U8 -- A three-pointer from Ju Ju Murray puts the Rebels up 66-54 over the Tigers ahead of the U8 timeout. Ole Miss is trying to put this game away, but Missouri has made six of its last seven field goals attempts.

2H U4 -- It is getting tight down the stretch, as Ole Miss has not made a field goal in over four minutes while the Tigers just finished a 8-0 scoring run. The Rebels are beating Mizzou 73-71 with less than two minutes remaining in the game.
