Five Ole Miss Rebels to Participate in This Week's NFL Combine

These former Rebels will have the opportunity to showcase their talents to NFL franchises.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Five former Ole Miss Rebels will participate in the 2023 NFL Combine in Indianapolis this week.

Nick Broeker, Zach Evans, Malik Heath, Jonathan Mingo and Tavius Robinson all received invitations to participate in this year's combine, and all of these athletes except for Evans will participate in drills this week. Evans will not participate in drills at Lucas Oil Stadium due to injury.

These five will also participate in Ole Miss' Pro Day on March 29.

Evans, a TCU transfer, joined the Rebels this season after his time in Fort Worth. In an injury-hampered season, Evans rushed for nearly 1,000 yards and helped Ole Miss' offense tally the third-best rushing attack in the country at 256.6 YPG.

Heath also spent one year in an Ole Miss uniform, transferring in from Mississippi State last season. He led the Rebels in receptions (60), receiving yards (971) and receiving touchdowns (5).

Mingo has been a mainstay in Oxford through his four-year career, and he set a single-game Ole Miss record for receiving yards in 2022 when the Rebels faced Vanderbilt. In that game, Mingo tallied 247 receiving yards on nine catches with two touchdowns. In his career, he finished with over 1,700 receiving yards.

Broeker earned second team All-America and first team All-SEC awards after starting 13 games for Ole Miss in 2022. He was also awarded the 2022 Kent Hull Trophy for the best offensive lineman in the state of Mississippi, and he did not miss a single game during his Rebel career.

Robinson will take the field on Thursday afternoon after accumulating 44 total tackles and seven sacks in 2022. Ole Miss released a promotion for Robinson's participation on Thursday.
