Today's Locked On Ole Miss Podcast discusses the trio of Ole Miss’ “Big Three” head coaches: Lane Kiffin, Chris Beard and Mike Bianco.
We talk about their accomplishments over the course of their career and bounce that off of what being an Ole Miss fan was like in the 1980s. Several programs are competitive with Ole Miss, such as the Alabama Crimson Tide because of Nick Saban and Nate Oats. I wouldn't trade Ole Miss’ three for any of them.
In the second segment of the show we talk about the job that Keith Carter has done at Ole Miss and how he has shown the ability to give the fans what they want with Lane Kiffin and Chris Beard. That will lead to outside interest in the Ole Miss AD. I think an argument can be had about him being the best AD in the history of the university.
In our final segment of the day, Derek Vandygriff stops by to breakdown the SEC opening series with the Vanderbilt Commodores. Vandy comes into the series at No. 6, but this doesn't seem to be the Vandy team that we are familiar with.
