OXFORD, Miss. -- The No. 13 Ole Miss Rebels are licking their wounds following their tough road loss to the Georiga Bulldogs last Saturday night, and they now have their sights set on finishing with at least 10 wins for the second time in three years.

The Rebels won't compete with the big dogs this season, but they still have the chance to do something that has never been accomplished in program history: win more than 10 games.

With an overall record of 8-2, this could very well be the winningest season in the history of Ole Miss football, so long as the Rebels take care of business versus the ULM Warhawks, Mississippi State Bulldogs, and whoever they match up with in their bowl game.

Ole Miss safety Daijahn Anthony mentioned during his media availability on Tuesday that Lane Kiffin and Pete Golding have the team focused on making history in Oxford this season.

"We took the loss [to UGA] really hard on Saturday and Sunday," Anthony told reporters. "But on Monday, [Lane Kiffin and Pete Golding] did a good job of reminding us about last year and telling us that we can go 11-2 and still make history.

"That's something big that has brought light back into the defensive room. When [Kiffin] said that we can still do something that a team has never done here before, that spoke volumes to all of us. We know that we have to work hard and finish out strong because we've got a lot ahead of us."

It is a quick turnaround after Ole Miss' Week 12 matchup versus ULM, as the Rebels have to travel to Starkville to battle the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Thanksgiving Day. Anthony talked about how his preparation has changed for the final two games of the season.

"Just a little more treatment and water," Anthony said. "[The coaches] are doing a good job of taking care of us out there during practice because we didn't go full pads today, so that was easier on our legs."

Kickoff for Ole Miss vs. ULM is set for 11 a.m. CT and the game will be televised on SEC Network.
