Rebels 2023 Over/Under Win Total Prediction Raises Questions
The 2023 college football season isn't here yet, and fall ball hasn't even started yet. But with spring games in the rear view mirror and roster commitments taking shape through the transfer portal, it's easy to already be excited about a new season of Ole Miss Rebels football.
As head coach Lane Kiffin attempts to get his squad into shape the college football win/loss odds are upon us via our friends at FanDuel.
Last year, the Rebels found themselves in the top 10 in October after a fast 7-0 start to the season. But after tough losses to Alabama and Mississippi State thrown in with blowouts losses to Arkansas, LSU, and Texas Tech, Ole Miss came crashing back down to earth.
The upcoming season will be a different-look Rebels team after both losses and gains via the transfer portal, but a competitive battle at quarterback has fans excited.
FanDuel has set the Ole Miss wins total over/under at 7.5, with odds for the over at -134 and at +110 for the under.
Which is the safe bet? Your guess is as good as ours, but with the No. 28 recruiting class in the country, there's reason to be optimistic. And don't forget the Rebels were already included in the preseason top 25.
Ole Miss will hope to continue its offensive success from last year after averaging 33.4 points per game in 2022. But the Rebels will face four ranked opponents including three top six teams, so they'll have their work cut out for them.
