Ole Miss Football Receives Helmet of the Year Award

OXFORD, Miss. - The people have spoken, and the Ole Miss Rebels have been named the winners of the 2022 Helmet of the Year Award by Uniswag.
The announcement was made on Monday via social media after voting for Helmet of the Year took place from Feb. 13-15. According to Uniswag, over 220,000 total votes were cast by fans for the five different categories of awards.
Fans had the opportunity to vote on the best uniforms, helmets, throwback uniforms, military appreciation uniforms, and FCS uniforms from the 2022 season.
Ole Miss was one of 10 nominees for the Helmet of the Year Award, joining the Tennessee Volunteers, BYU Cougars, Minnesota Golden Gophers, Oregon Ducks, TCU Horned Frogs, North Carolina Tarheels, Utah Utes, Army Black Knights, and Navy Midshipmen.

The Rebels sported 12 different uniform combinations with five helmet variations this season. The powder blue camo lids worn by Ole Miss in the Week 5 home victory over the No. 7 Kentucky Wildcats were named the best helmet in football by the fans.
Ole Miss and Realtree partnered together to make a custom, digital camo scheme exclusive to the Rebels.
