OXFORD, Miss. -- After battling the Georgia Bulldogs on the road in Week 10, the Ole Miss Rebels have a much easier non-conference opponent slated for Week 11 in the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks.

Ole Miss is set to host the Warhawks in the Rebels' final home game of the 2023 season before the team travels to Starkville to end the regular season with the Egg Bowl.

ULM's schedule is not nearly as daunting as Ole Miss' this season, but it will not be an easy road regardless. The Warhawks enter 2023 without their starting quarterback from 2022, Chandler Rogers. Rogers entered the NCAA Transfer Portal following the 2022 season and later committed to the North Texas Mean Green in January.

Senior Jiya Wright is expected to be under center for the Warhawks in 2023 after competing with Rogers for the starting quarterback job a year ago. Wright has not thrown a regular season pass since 2021.

The last time Ole Miss and ULM met was in 2018 and the Rebels crushed the Warhawks 70-21 in Oxford. Quarterback Jordan Ta'amu led the Rebels in passing and freshman Matt Corral led Ole Miss on the ground with 78 rushing yards and one touchdown on just six carries.

ULM travels to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Nov. 18, and the kickoff time has yet to be announced. Here are the keys to the game for both programs.

ULM Warhawks

1. Get WR Tyrone Howell Going

The Warhawks do not have the defense to keep the Rebels in check offensively, so their best shot at miraculously coming away with a victory in Week 11 is if their passing game is somehow able to keep up. Entering 2023, ULM's No. 1 wideout is Tyrone Howell who hauled in 50 receptions for 852 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns a season ago.

2. Try not to let Ole Miss score 49 points by halftime

As mentioned above, ULM does not have the defense to contain Lane Kiffin's offense. They will have a better shot at winning, however, if they can try to keep the Rebels from scoring as much as they did when the two teams met in 2018. In their last matchup, Ole Miss recorded 49 points by halftime and ended up scoring 70 by the time the final whistle was blown.

Ole Miss Rebels

1. Give Quinshon Judkins the ball

Sophomore tailback Quinshon Judkins should have a field day versus the Warhawks in Week 11. There is a chance Judkins gets pulled early to keep him healthy for the Egg Bowl in Week 12, but all the Rebels need to do to pick up a win versus ULM is feed their superstar running back.

2. Let Pete Golding Cook

The Warhawks are entering the season with senior Jiya Wright starting at quarterback and he has not thrown a regular season pass since 2021. Pete Golding's new-look defense should obliterate the Warhawk's offense and inexperienced signal caller, especially if things go south for Ole Miss versus Georgia in Week 10. An angry Ole Miss defense spells trouble for ULM in Week 11.
