Texas A&M Offensive Players To Watch vs. Ole Miss Rebels
The Ole Miss Rebels were a touchdown away from being the Texas A&M Aggies' sixth win in an abysmal season.
The Aggies were 101st in scoring offense and 93rd in total offense, leaning on the No. 25 scoring defense to keep them in games in which their offense was still sitting on the bus.
Texas A&M had quarterback turmoil all of last season, starting with Haynes King who battled struggles and injuries before turning duties over to Conner Weigman and left-hander Max Johnson.
King transferred to Georgia Tech in the offseason, and Weigman held the title as QB1 at the beginning of this season until an injury derailed his playing time. Now, those duties fall to the aforementioned Johnson.
Here are three offensive players to watch (including at quarterback) when the Aggies travel to Oxford on Saturday.

QB Max Johnson
As noted above, Conner Weigman is no longer taking snaps for Texas A&M, but Max Johnson has not been a slouch in his stead. So far this season, the transfer from the LSU Tigers has thrown for 1,147 yards, eight touchdowns and four interceptions.
He may not have been the Aggies' original starter, but he has seen limited action in seven of TAMU's eight games this season, so the redshirt sophomore is somewhat-experienced, and he has plenty of weapons at his disposal.
RB Le'Veon Moss
Moss has put up 77 carries for 387 yards and three scores so far this season, being the Aggies' primary running back. He has split carries with the likes of Amari Daniels and Rueben Owens, but Moss has had the most production in yardage, touches and scores.
WR Ainias Smith
Smith's season in 2022 was cut short due to injury, but he has made an impact in the air attack for the Aggies so far this season, putting up 33 receptions for 569 yards and one score. Smith is a graduate student out of Missouri City, Texas, and he spent his prep ball days at Fort Bend Dulles.
