In this story:
To compete with the best you have to hire the best. It's been a busy week in Eugene as Oregon Football announced two new hires on Monday.
It looks like Dan Lanning is closing in adding another piece to his coaching staff. The Ducks are set to hire Antonio Parks as an offensive analyst, according to a report from Justin Hopkins of Scoopduck On3.

Parks will join the Oregon staff after spending the 2022 season at Arizona State working as a defensive quality control analyst while also assisting in recruiting.
The newest addition to Oregon's coaching staff has ties to new offensive coordinator Will Stein after playing his senior season at UTSA in 2021. He started in 10 games for the Roadrunners and recorded 49 total tackles and two pass breakups.
Prior to that the former safety also played at the University of Arizona.

Parks is originally from New Orleans and played his high school football at East St. John High School in Louisiana. His ties to both Louisiana and Texas should be a valuable asset for Oregon on the recruiting trail after the Ducks signed six recruits from the Lone Star State in 2023.
Dan Lanning hired Mike Cavanaugh as an assistant offensive line coach earlier this week along with Brian Michalowski to coach the inside linebackers. Other new additions to the coaching staff this offseason include offensive line coach A'lique Terry, offensive coordinator Will and safeties coach Chris Hampton.
