Bracketology Watch: Pitt Named 10 Seed in New NCAA Tournament Predictions

In this story:
PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers will enter the ACC Tournament this week with their NCAA Tournament hopes in a precarious position. After dropping their final two games of the regular season on the road to the postseason, Pitt is flirting with the bubble.
Mike DeCoursey of Fox Sports has released a new set of NCAA Tournament seeds - not a full bracket - and has the Panthers listed as a 10 seed. pitt had been up on the eight and nine line before losing to Notre Dame and Miami away from the Petersen Events Center. Memphis West Virginia and Ruthers were DeCoursey's other 10 seeds.
Our @CBBonFOX seed list as Sunday dawned, with #Purdue falling from the No. 1 seed line in favor of smoking-hot @UCLAMBB https://t.co/DUs8dNmHle

These two losses have not been completely damning to Pitt's NCAA Tournament hopes. Losing on the road softens the blow and the fact that Miami was ranked in the top 20 also helps. But the Panthers cannot afford any more bad losses and with a date against either Florida State or Georgia Tech set for the their own ACC Tournament open, at least one more win appears necessary for them to make the field.
