UNC's Harrison Ingram Calls Out Pitt's Blake Hinson

In this story:
PITTSBURGH -- A 65-72 win for North Carolina over the Pitt Panthers was extra sweet for Harrison Ingram, who was glad to get the better of Blake Hinson in the ACC Tournament semifinals.
“I took that matchup personally," Ingram said. "They put [Hinson] on the first team [All-ACC]. They put me third team. I think I’m better than him, personally.”

Ingram's stat line wasn't particularly notable - 6 points on 2-6 shooting, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 turnovers. But as a frequent defender on Hinson, he helped contain one of the best shooters in the ACC and the country. Hinson managed just five points on 2-12 shooting, missed all five of his 3-point attempts and grabbed just one rebound.
It was just the fifth time that Hinson didn't make a 3-pointer as a Panther. They had three of the four previous games entering the ACC Tournament, including a 2023 win over the Tar Heels, but weren't as fortunate this time.
