Pitt Players React to Jordan Addison's Transfer to USC

Former teammates sent their support to the former Pitt receiver.

PITTSBURGH -- Former Pittsburgh Panthers wide receiver Jordan Addison spoke for the first time publicly about his decision to transfer to USC on Thursday. In a statement posted on Twitter, he delivered a piece of news that was never official but always felt inevitable. Addison made sure to express gratitude and love for his now former coaches and teammates at Pitt and they responded with messages of support and well wishes.

Safety Rashad Battle was the first to post on Twitter.

Then came Buddy Mack, a junior linebacker that had been supportive of Addison since the rumors first began to fly.

Transfer wideout Konata Mumpfield, who is a prime candidate to replace Addison as the Panthers' top pass-catcher, wished Addison good luck.

Defenders Calijah Kancey, P.J. O'Brien and Marquis Williams also chimed in with positive messages.
