Report: Jordan Addison Will Officially Visit USC

The former Pitt Panthers WR will visit the school that sparked national controversy.

PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Panther reciever Jordan Addison is on the move after entering the transfer portal this month. The 2021 Biletnikoff winner was in Austin, Texas this week, visiting with the Texas Longhorns and his former position coach, Brennan Marion. Now, he's getting ready to visit another blue blood.

According to a report from the recruiting service On3, Addison has scheduled an official visit with USC, the same school that reportedly contacted him in April, hoping to lure the star wideout away from Pitt before he had even entered the transfer portal.

Head coach Lincoln Riley and a set of Trojan boosters reportedly offered Addison multi-million dollar NIL deals in exchange for his commitment to USC. Others involved in recruiting Addison, like Texas and Alabama, are expected to have done the same.

Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi, who reportedly called Riley several times the night that rumors of contact between Addison and USC surfaced, has not said much publically about the matter. On Thursday, Narduzzi said in an interview with the ACC Network that, while he may not have approved of USC's tactics, he understands and respects that Addison will need to make the best decision for himself.

Early reports claimed that returning to Pitt was still an option for Addison, but in the following days competing reports said that the Panthers were out of the running.
