In this story:
PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers could be in danger of losing one of their top assistant coaches this season to a blue-blood school.
According to a report from Chris Carter of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, there is mutual interest between Pitt defensive line coach Charlie Partridge and the Florida Gators, who are looking to fill their own defensive line coach position.
We've heard corroborating rumors at @PGSportsNow that there is interest from #Pitt DL coach Charlie Partridge in Florida's DL coaching job.

Partridge has been the DL coach under Pat Narduzzi since 2017. Four times during that span, Pitt has ranked top 3 in sacks in the country. https://t.co/CoJ9aB6gDn
Since arriving at Pitt seven years ago, Partridge has turned Pitt's program into a defensive line factory and serves as assistant head coach in addition to his work as a position coach.
Partridge has recruited and developed standout Pitt defensive linemen like Calijah Kancey - a 2023 first-round pick - Patrick Jones, Rashad Weaver, Jaylen Twyman, Habakkuk Baldonado, Deslin Alexandre and others. Three different Pitt linemen have been named All-Americans under his tutelage and Kancey earned 2022 ACC Defensive Player of the Year.
