Pitt Favored to Beat Boston College

In this story:
PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers are currently riding a four-game losing streak and sit tied for the second-worst record in the ACC but Las Vegas is optimistic they will get back in the win column this week against Boston College.
Pitt is two-point favorite over the Eagles, who will visit Acrisure Stadium in just a couple of days for a midweek battle under the lights. The Panthers' moneyline odds sit at -130, compared to +110 for the Eagles. The point total line has been set at 47.5.
The Panthers and Eagles have not met on the gridiron since 2020, when Pitt dropped a heartbreaking one-point game in Chestnut Hill to a Boston College team led by none other than Phil Jurkovec, who threw for 358 yards and three touchdowns.
The Eagles have won the last two meetings against Pitt, who won the four contests prior. Pitt owns a 17-15 advantage in the all-time series, which dates back to 1959.
