Kenny Pickett, Damar Hamlin Joke About Midseason Fight

In this story:
PITTSBURGH -- The fake slide he pulled off in the 2021 ACC Championship Game, which led to the first score of the historic night for the Pitt Panthers, is still getting Kenny Pickett into trouble long after his college days are over.
When Pickett was making his first start for the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road against the Buffalo Bills, he tried to slide and avoid a hit at the end of the play but his old Pitt teammate, Damar Hamlin, had the fake slide fresh in his mind and wasn't going to let it beat him.
"So I slid and he hit me late and I just got up and was like 'Come on, man,'" Pickett said during an appearance on former Steeler Ryan Clark's podcast, The Pivot. "Because I've known Damar for so long. We've been going at it for a long time. ... Every day at practice, we'd go at it."
I’m sorry brother but I was not about to be the next victim… 😂🫶🏾 @kennypickett10 https://t.co/LvgA5Ntmkt

Pickett might have been upset for a second but once Hamlin replied, he couldn't help bu laugh.
"So I get up and [Hamlin] says to me 'I was worried about the fake slide!'," Pickett said. "I was like 'Get the f*** out of here.'"
Hamlin responded again on Twitter, saying "I'm sorry brother but I was not about to be the next victim."
