Larry Fitzgerald, who ranks top-five among all Pitt receivers in catches, yards and touchdowns - despite playing just two seasons in college - announced this afternoon that he will join ESPN's Monday Night Countdown, their pregame show that proceeds the weekly national broadcast of NFL Football.
After narrowly missing out on the 2003 Heisman Trophy after amassing more than 1600 yards and 22 touchdowns, Fitzgerald was selected third overall by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2003 NFL Draft. He went on to play 17 seasons of professional football and collect numerous accolades before retiring following the 2020 season. He made 11 Pro Bowls, an All-Pro team, the Hall of Fame All-2010s team and won the 2016 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.
