Upgrades to Pitt Practice Facility Revealed

In this story:
PITTSBURGH -- With spring ball over and the beginning of fall training camp still months away, the Pitt Panthers are enjoying summer break. And with players away from the UMPC Rooney Sports Complex (for the most part) the team took some time to make improvements to its facilities.
The Panthers tapped Mascaro Construction to help them renovate their pool recovery room inside the practice facility. The project, completed this week, included new hot and cold pools, installation of new electrical wiring, an underwater treadmill, new walls and floors and some miscellaneous mechanical upgrades.

Pitt has been able to make these improvements to the football facility with the help of both former Panther and current NFL star Aaron Donald and class of 1997 alumni Chris Bickell, who made donations worth seven figures in 2019 and $20 million in 2021, respectively.
