Report: Pitt F John Hugley Suffers Sprained Knee

The Pitt Panthers will be without their star forward for "at least a few weeks".

PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers got some bad injury news this weekend, according to a report from Corey Crisan of DK Pittsburgh Sports. He said that star forward John Hugley suffered a sprained knee in practice last week and will miss multiple weeks at a minimum. The Panthers are scheduled to play their first exhibition game in 20 days.

Hugley led the Panthers in scoring and rebounding last season and earned All-ACC honorable mention honors at the end of the 2021-22 season. It was the first full season for the former four-star, top-100 recruit out of Cleveland, Ohio. He sat out most of his freshman season after being suspended.
