Rodney Hammond, Konata Mumpfield Dressed for Pitt Ahead of Louisville Game

In this story:
PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers are making their first ACC road trip to Louisville, Kentucky this week and following their bye week, are getting much healthier after injuries plagued them during the first half of the season.
Running back Rondey Hammond, who has been working back from a foot injury suffered in the season opener, was on the travel roster and dressed. He was in uniform two weeks ago when the Panthers took on Virginia Tech, but didn't play.
Receiver Konata Mumpfield, who hurt his hand against Georgia Tech and did not play against Virginia Tech, was dressed and went through warmups ahead of kickoffs. Pat Narduzzi said this week that he would be a gametime decision.
Defensive end Dayon Hayes, who had been dealing with a reported knee injury since Week 2, also traveled. He didn't make the trip to Kalamazoo for the Western Michigan game a few weeks back.
Quarterback Nick Patti also traveled. It was an open question whether Patti was healthy enough to go two weeks ago when the Panthers took on the Hokies but Narduzzi said this week that Patti is solidly the team's back up signal-caller behind Kedon Slovis.
Center Owen Drexel did not travel with the team to Louisville, so it will be Jake Kradel back in the middle of the Pitt offensive line for the fifth straight week.
Starting punter Sam Vander Haar also did not travel. Sophomore Cam Guess, who did travel, has been listed on the depth chart as Vander Haar's back up since the start of the season.
Backup linebacker Brandon George is not at Cardinal Stadium either. He's been in and out throughout the first six games with an undisclosed injury.
