Inside Pitt Postgame Report: Outmuscled by Florida

In this story:
PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers lost in ugly fashion to the Florida Gators in the opening round of the NIT Season Tip-Off, making it the second season in a row that the Barclays Center in Brooklyn has become a house of horrors for this program.
But the Panthers have some reasons for optimism despite the loss. Head coach Jeff Capel said their two losses in New York last season marked a turning point in their season and this defeat has the same potential to work as a spring board towards better things.
Pitt's stars were inefficient, the bench was a non-factor and the team as a whole did not meet the physical challenge Florida posed. But all of their mistakes are fixable and the Panthers have an immediate chance to right the ship against Oregon State in two days.
