Pitt's First Round of June Official Visitors

The Pitt Panthers kickoff an important month of recruiting this weekend.

PITTSBURGH -- Pitt Panthers head coach Pat Narduzzi rung in the new month at the stroke of midnight with a Tweet that looked at first glance like one of his trademark "Pat Signals," a sign that his program had landed a new recruit. Upon further review, it wasn't such an announcement but instead a promise of what is to come for the Panthers in June.

A crucial month in the recruiting calendar is underway for Pitt. Verbal commitments tend to come to the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex as fast and furious as the official visitors who give them around this time of year, so take some time to get to know who will be on campus this weekend.

2024 WR Keylen Adams
Adams is a unanimous four-star prospect from Virginia Beach, Virginia. He's ranked as high as the No. 2 player in the state and No. 19 receiver in his class. On3, 247Sports and ESPN all rank him inside the top 200 players in the current junior class as well.

Pitt is competing with some big names for the 6'0 and 185-pound wideout's services - Penn State, Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Florida State, Auburn, Texas A&M, North Carolina and many others, including the Panthers.

2024 OL Caleb Holmes
Holmes, a native of Fairburn, Georgia who attends Creekside High School, is a consensus four-star prospect. He is ranked as high as the No. 7 interior offensive lineman and No. 25 player from Georgia in the class.

He boasts an impressive offer sheet as well, with Florida State, LSU, Auburn, Tennessee and Oklahoma headlining the list alongside Pitt. He's visited with both teams of Tigers at LSU and Auburn and attended Florida State's junior day earlier this year.

2024 QB Trever Jackson
Pitt typically likes to staff each class with a quarterback and the coaching staff would love Jackson could be their next. Rated as a four-star prospect by ESPN and On3, and a three-star recruit by ESPN and Rivals, he is among the top 20 of quarterback prospects in his class with room to grow.

The 6'3 and 190-pound Winter Garden, Florida native who attends West Orange High School holds offers from Penn State, Texas A&M, Indiana, Illinois, West Virginia and Missouri with Florida State, Miami, UCF and Ohio State all expressing varying levels of interest.

Jackson will attend the Elite 11 Finals later this summer, where he'll compete against some of the best high school quarterbacks in the country.

DE Dominic Kirks
Kirks, who is from Cleveland, Ohio and attends Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School, was originally scheduled to be in Pittsburgh later this month but moved up his visit to be in the Steel City this weekend instead.

Kirks is rated as a four-star prospect by On3 and a three-star player by 247Sports and Rivals. On3 ranks him as high as the No. 11 player in Ohio and the No. 28 defensive lineman nationally in the class of 2024.

The 6'5, 250-pound junior also has visits to Washington and Kentucky on his schedule for this summer. He has already been out to Seattle to see the Huskies this spring and visited Ohio State, Cincinnati, and West Virginia this year.

OL Mason Lindsay
Like Kirks, Lindsay moved his visit up but only by a couple of days.

The 6'7 and 290-pound offensive tackle from Hyattsville, Maryland who attends powerhouse DeMatha Catholic High School, holds just one three-star rating from Rivals, but has picked up plenty of Power 5 offers since last season.

Nearby Maryland was the first Division I school to extend an offer last July and Boston College, West Virginia and Virginia Tech followed on the same day. UConn, Wake Forest and Duke also expressed some interest. Charlotte, Maine and Elon offered as well before Pitt threw their hat in the ring with an offer of their own early last week.

S Reggie Powers
Powers listed Pitt in his top five just last week alongside Ohio State, Cincinnati, Northwestern and Michigan State and one of his first stops of the summer will be in Pittsburgh.

Powers, a 6'1 and 195-pound safety from Dayton, Ohio by way of Centerville High School, is ranked as high as the No. 12 player in Ohio and the No. 34 safety in the class by On3, who is also the only recruiting service to rank him as a four-star. ESPN, Rivals and 247Sports all consider him a three-star prospect.

He cut a lengthy list of offers that included West Virginia, Louisville, Duke, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, Iowa State, Virginia, UConn, Boston College and others. Notre Dame and Tennessee have expressed interest but not offered.

DE Elias Rudolph
Pitt landed in Rudolph's top five - alongside Penn State, Ohio State, Cincinnati and Michigan - earlier this month and now he'll get an up close and personal look at one of his finalists.

Rudolph is a four-star recruit with an offer sheet to match. He holds offers from Florida State, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Iowa, Purdue, Michigan State, Georgia Tech, Boston College, West Virginia and others but has spurned for those five finalists.

The 6'3 and 200-pound outside linebacker and defensive end is ranked as high as the No. 4 player in the talent-rich Sunshine State (Rivals) and No. 15 linebacker (247Sports). ESPN ranks them as high as the No. 150 player in the country.
