This game will mark the first time the Panthers have visited Milan Puskar Stadium since 2011. They have not won in Morgantown, West Virginia since 2007, when then-4-7 Pitt pulled off one of the most stunning upsets in college football history when they stunned the No. 2 Mountaineers, 13-9, and denied them a spot in the national championship game.
Last season, the Panthers ripped West Virginia's heart out in similarly devastating fashion. After tying the game at 31-31, M.J. Devonshire intercepted a tipped pass and returned it 57 yards for a game-winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
