PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panther continue their recruiting journey as they finish up the last week of spring practices. Here's their top news of the day.

UPDATE: Pitt is pursuing former four-star center Franck Kepnang after his decision to enter the transfer portal. The 6-foot-11, 247-pound center played in 35 games this season for Oregon and averaged 4.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.2 blocked shots per game. According to Pittsburgh Sports Now, the Panthers plan to recruit the big man.

UPDATE: Pitt jumps out early to extend an offer to 8th grade quarterback star Julian Lewis out of Carrollton, Georgia. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound QB played for his high school team last year and already has nine offers. 

UPDATE: Ole Miss guard/forward Luis Rodriguez is receiving interest from Pitt after hitting the transfer portal. He's reportedly also considering the NBA Draft after playing 31 games for Ole Miss and averaging 6.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game in 2021.
