South Carolina's entire 2019 recruiting class, affectionately known as "The Freshies", accomplished a multitude of feats throughout their four years in Columbia, leading the Gamecocks to three Final Four appearances, 129 total wins and a national championship win in 2022. Now, the time has come for the group to move to the next stage in their basketball career, as Aliyah Boston, Zia Cooke, Brea Beal and Laeticia Amihere were all invited to New York for the WNBA Draft which is taking place later tonight.

The Gamecocks currently have eight former players who are active members of the WNBA, a group that's of course led by superstar and homegrown talent A'ja Wilson.
