How To Watch: South Carolina at Ole Miss

In their past few outings, Lamont Paris and South Carolina's men's basketball team have been on the verge of putting everything together, losing three out of their past four contests by an average of only 4.66 points. Alas, the Gamecocks losing streak in SEC play has stretched out to eight games, and Carolina will get another opportunity to snap the skid on Saturday when they play on the road against the Ole Miss Rebels.

The Rebels defeated the Gamecocks the first time these two teams met this season, as South Carolina's wildly inconsistent shooting performance combined with Ole Miss' uncharacteristically solid outing from behind the arc put Lamont Paris' squad in too big of a hole. For South Carolina to get revenge this time, they'll need to pay special attention to Matthew Murrell, who torched the Gamecocks' defense for 23 points this last time out, taking advantage of their slow weakside defensive rotations.

For the Gamecocks, they must work on taking care of the basketball offensively, as turnovers have hamstrung the team in their past few matchups, something that, if taken care could allow GG Jackson, Meechie Johnson, Hayden Brown, and others ample scoring opportunities.
