BETTING ODDS: Sweet 16, No. 1-seed South Carolina Vs. No. 4-seed Indiana
Dawn Staley and the South Carolina Gamecocks are just a couple of hours away from taking the floor in Albany to face off against the Indiana Hoosiers in the Sweet 16. The Gamecocks have been the most dominant team in women's college basketball all season long, and that dominance has carried over into the NCAA Tournament, with Carolina possessing a collective margin of victory of 99 points through the first two rounds.
Although the Hoosiers are considered to be one of the best teams in the country, it appears that oddsmakers from multiple sportsbooks don't see this game being particularly close, as evidenced by the spread lines taken from some of the more noteworthy books:
FanDuel: 16.5-point favorite (Gamecocks)
Draft Kings: 16.5-point favorite
Caesars Sportsbook: 15-point favorite
Looking back at the games played to this point in the season, the Gamecocks have only had 10 instances where they won by less than 17 points.
