The South Carolina Gamecocks have dealt with a lot of injuries to this point in the season, and that remains the case in week nine based on the injury report given by Shane Beamer on his weekly Carolina Calls radio show he did on Thursday night.

Texas A&M Injury Report

  • OL Vershon Lee - OUT: After getting rolled up late in the first half against the Florida Gators two Saturdays ago, the veteran lineman won't be able to play this weekend against the Aggies. Shane Beamer stated last week that Lee will likely miss two weeks, with his tentative return date set for the Jacksonville State game in week ten.
  • WR Ahmarean Brown - OUT: After suffering a hamstring injury against the Missouri Tigers last weekend, and practicing in a limited capacity this week, the fifth-year senior has been ruled unavailable for this Saturday's game.
  • WR Xavier Legette - QUESTIONABLE: South Carolina's star wide receiver suffered what was disclosed as an upper-body injury against Missouri, and his status remains up in the air for this Saturday's game. Beamer did mention on Carolina Calls that whether he plays this weekend or not, Legette isn't expected to be out long-term.
  • OL Tree Babalde - QUESTIONABLE: Left the Missouri game with an injury.
  • OL Trovon Baugh - QUESTIONABLE: Left the Missouri game with an injury.
  • OL Cason Henry - QUESTIONABLE: Hasn't played since week one against the North Carolina Tar Heels, but has progressed significantly in rehab over the past couple of weeks and been able to practice more with the team.

Also unsure if it's been officially stated by Shane Beamer himself, but Todd Ellis mentioned in passing on this week's Carolina Calls Show that offensive lineman Jaylen Nichols is out for the season, which is notable considering that it was said back in the Summer that there was a chance Nichols could possibly return later in the season.
