South Carolina Transfers and Freshman Receive Jersey Numbers
South Carolina has had a very busy off-season thus far through recruiting and the transfer portal. With a significant amount of talent leaving Columbia this offseason to the draft or lack of eligibility, the Gamecocks reloaded the roster with plenty of new talent. The significant roster shakeup means jersey number changes for the Gamecocks.
All of the changes, in addition to the entirety of the spring roster, can be found on the Gamecocks' official football website. The freshmen on the list are only comprised of early enrollees. Players like Nyckoles Harbor, who is a part of South Carolina's 2023 recruiting but has yet to enroll, aren't included on the list.
