Where Will Anthony Addison Commit?
In the early portion of Friday afternoon, a key target will be coming off the board for Shane Beamer and South Carolina's football team in edge rusher Anthony Addison. This is an important recruiting battle as Addison is an edge rusher from the Palmetto state who would add some youth to that position group for the Gamecocks. Being listed at 6'4, 215 pounds according to his On3 Sports recruiting profile, Addison is rated the 6th-best prospect in the state of South Carolina, the 42nd-best edge rusher, and 463rd-best overall prospect in the 2025 recruiting class. That same profile indicates that Anthony has visited Columbia three times with an official visit coming on June 21st.
While Addison has received offers from other Power 4 programs like Tennessee, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Duke, and West Virginia, considering the number of times he's been on campus and the close proximity to home, we would be surprised if he commits to a program other than South Carolina between 12 and 1 PM EDT later today.
