It's not often that athletes enjoy making their personal lives public but a while back on his podcast with his brother Jason, Travis Kelce revealed that he tried to shoot his shoot with Taylor Swift.

The football world kind of laughed and moved on, but this past weekend no one was laughing anymore. There were rumors and reports that Swift would be at the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears, and to the surprise of every football fan and "Swifties" everywhere, they were true. The pop star was spotted in a box with Kelce's mother, and the two were spotted together after the game.

The relationship is certainly one of the more famous ones in sports, with a new joke going around implying that Swift put Kelce on the map. Depending on which circles you find yourself in, this could certainly be true. However, many talking heads in the sports world think a relationship of this magnitude could be a distraction for Kelce, but former Stanford and NFL star Richard Sherman thinks the opposite.

On a recent episode of Undisputed when asked if this is a distraction for the Chiefs, Sherman revealed he doesn't think so. He also explained he believes the relationship is "perfect" and will help Kelce's performance on and off the field.

Kelce and the Chiefs are coming off their second Super Bowl in the last four seasons, and are looking to continue to form the next great dynasty. As for Swift, she is arguably the most famous person in music right now and has won 12 Grammy Awards and is fresh off a tour that grossed over $1 billion.

To say the two are a power couple would be an understatement. As for what Sherman said about Kelce's brand growing, he has seen a boom in jersey sales, his podcast has soared to the top of the charts, and the NFL has tapped into a new demographic.
