One of the biggest areas of need on Stanford's roster ahead of next season is the offensive line.

The Cardinal are set to return just one lineman that had starting experience this past season, so naturally it was the position that Troy Taylor and company pushed extremely hard for in the transfer portal. In what was a huge win for the Cardinal, they landed a commitment from Penn offensive lineman, Trevor Mayberry.

Mayberry has two years of eligibility left, and can play all over the offensive line despite starting at left tackle the past two seasons. According to his social media, he committed to Stanford over other programs such as Marshall and Temple.

He now marks the second transfer that Stanford has landed this off-season not counting Justin Williams-Thomas who decided to flip to Cal. It wouldn't be surprising if the Cardinal landed another Ivy League transfer or two.
