WATCH: Tanner McKee talks about his meeting with the New Orleans Saints and Drew Brees

Tanner McKee is looking to be the fourth Stanford quarterback drafted since 2012

The NFL Draft is the next major event on the football calendar, and prospects from all over the country are currently preparing and doing everything they can to work their way up NFL draft boards.

Stanford has a handful of draft hopefuls, but quarterback Tanner McKee is the one that has been generating the most buzz. The NFL Combine has been taking place over the past few days, and as always there are prospects that have been absolutely building their draft stock up, while others may need to start figuring out how to have a strong showing at their pro day.

McKee is someone who has been especially under the microscope in Indianapolis, as he has one of the best arms in the draft and is the prototypical size for an NFL quarterback at 6-foot-6. However, due to the horrendous offense that the Cardinal were running, his production is something that has had people like Ryan Leaf criticizing him.

Despite the modest numbers, McKee still declared for the draft early and is widely viewed as a third round pick after starting the year as a potential first rounder. While at the combine he was asked about a meeting he had with New Orleans Saints and what it would be like to be the successor to a great quarterback in Drew Brees, which also featured a cameo from Brees while at the meeting.

McKee also had a chance to talk about how his hard work separates him from anyone else in the class, and also got the chance to show off his arm during the drills.
