After losing nearly their entire rotation to graduation or the transfer portal, the Stanford Cardinal are starting to gain some traction in both recruiting and the transfer portal.

Since new head coach Kyle Smith was hired he has flipped the No. 2 player in the state of Washington away from his former employer, has Stanford in the mix to flip Illinois signee and top-100 player Jase Butler, has Stanford as a finalists for Penn transfer Clark Slajchert, and on Monday flipped another Washington State commit.

The 6-foot-9 center took to social media on Monday to announce his commitment to Stanford, giving Stanford a big man on the roster after the departure of Maxime Raynaud who is still in the transfer portal.

ESPN ranks Toure as a three-star recruit, and could end up being a gem of a find for Smith and the Cardinal. This past season for West Park, he averaged a career-high 18.7 points and 11.4 rebounds, while also adding three blocks per game. He isn't just a traditional center either, as he shot 39% from three on 76 attempts.

The Cardinal still are a ways away from having a full roster, but Smith is currently getting hot.
