The Texas A&M Aggies and coach Buzz Williams will need to gear up the roster for next season after a disappointing first-round exit from the NCAA Tournament.

And on Wednesday, it was revealed that they could be on step closer to adding the first major piece to the puzzle.

Per reports from On3, Houston Cougars transfer guard Tramon Mark is now deciding between Texas A&M, Arkansas, Florida and Kansas State as his potential transfer destinations for next season.

Mark was a key contributor on a talented Houston team that was one of the nation's best this season. Even in an elite backcourt that featured Marcus Sasser and Jamal Shead, the Dickinson (Houston), Texas native still managed to average 10.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game while starting all 37 games for the Cougars.

Mark showed he can bring it when the lights are brightest. In the Round of 32 in this year's NCAA Tournament, he posted a game-high 26 points to go along with nine rebounds in an 81-64 win over the Auburn Tigers to help Houston advance to the Sweet 16.

The Aggies will maintain high expectations next season after finishing the 2022 campaign with a 25-10 record and making a second straight appearance to the SEC Championship. Adding Mark to the fold would only increase A&M's chances of reaching similar success next year.
