Big 12 Men’s Basketball Final Regular Season Power Rankings
Disclaimer: The rankings below are for the games played through Saturday, March 9 and do not include any games from the Phillips Big 12 Championship.
College basketball's regular season is done. It's on to the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship in Kansas City. Then, Selection Sunday is on March 17. The Big 12 is projected to send a record nine teams to the big dance.
Houston finished in the No. 1 spot in our final Big 12 Men's Basketball Power Rankings.
For the last ten weeks, our panel, comprised of voters representing all current and future Big 12 teams, has provided their Big 12 Men's Basketball Power Rankings.
For these final Power Rankings of the season, we thought we'd recap each team's journey – where they started, where they finished, and where they went in between.
How Power Rankings Are Determined
Once again, we have brought together a group from across the league to vote each week during the season on the Big 12 Power Rankings.

- Not all are TCU homers – fans of teams in the SEC and Big Ten are part of our editorial staff.
- One to two fans from the other current schools in the Big 12, plus one to two fans from the 2024 incoming "Four Corners" schools.
- Each week, each participant provides their rankings 1-14. Those rankings are compiled, and the average rank is then listed below.
