Men's Basketball Poll Watching Week 19: Houston, UConn, Purdue Remain at Top
In the Week 19 men's basketball polls, there was no change in the top three. Since Week 7, the top team in the nation has been either Houston (28-3, 15-3 Big 12), UConn (28-3, 18-2 Big East), or Purdue (28-3, 17-3 Big Ten). Those three are the final top three in the last set of polls before the conference tournaments begin.
The Houston Cougars are once again the No. 1 team in both weekly polls.
North Carolina (25-6, 17-3 ACC) and Tennessee (24-7, 14-4 SEC) round out the Top Five.
The Big 12 has six ranked teams this week, with two others receiving votes in at least one of the polls. The league also has the lowest NET ranking at 45.8. The nearest competition is the Big Ten at 60.3.
