Women's Basketball Poll Watching Week 8: TCU Now Ranked in Both Polls

The TCU women's basketball team made it a clean sweep in non-conference play and are 13-0 as they prepare for the start of Big 12 play this weekend. TCU is now ranked in both polls this week, moving up in both from where they were last week. The Frogs are ranked No. 23 (up two spots) in the AP Top 25 and No. 25 (up one spot) in the Coaches Poll.

There was very little movement in either poll this week. In the AP Top 25, the Top 10 did not change. In the Coaches Poll, the first 22 teams are the same as they were in Week 7.

South Carolina is the top team in both polls. In the AP Top 25, the top five also include UCLA, NC State, Iowa, and Texas. In the Coaches Poll, it's UCLA, Iowa, NC State, and USC.

In addition to Texas and TCU, the Big 12 has three other teams either ranked or receiving votes.
