Men's Basketball Poll Watching Week 16: Frogs Stay In AP Top 25

In this story:
The TCU Horned Frogs men's basketball team (18-9) once again dropped in both polls this week after going 1-1 in games last week.
A month ago, the Frogs were ranked as high as No. 11 and on the verge of cracking the Top Ten. They then went on a four game losing streak which was ended on Saturday with a convincing 100-75 win over Oklahoma State.
In this week's polls, TCU dropped two spots in the AP Top 25 to land at No. 24. In the Coaches Poll, TCU dropped out of the Top 25 but is receiving votes at No. 26.
Houston is back at the top of the rankings this week, moving up one spot and replacing Alabama. Kansas, UCLA, and Purdue round out the Top Five.
Six teams from the Big 12 remain ranked in the Top 25, with three of them in the Top 10. This is the sixth straight week to have six teams from the conference ranked. There is no rest for the weary, as every game more than likely has at least one ranked opponent, if not both. In addition to TCU (24/RV), other ranked Big 12 teams include Kansas (3/4), Texas (8/8), Baylor (9/10), Kansas State (14/16), and Iowa State (23/21). Oklahoma State is receiving votes in both polls this week, while Texas Tech is receiving votes in the Coaches Poll.
Here are the highlights from both the AP Top 25 poll and the USA Today Coaches Poll:
