Football Poll Watching Week 8: Sooners And Longhorns Are In Top Ten

The top four teams remain unchanged in the Week 8 football polls. Georgia remains the top team, followed by Michigan. The top five are the same in both polls, with Ohio State, Florida State, and Washington rounding out the top of the polls.
After losing to Oklahoma State, Kansas dropped out of both polls this week. This leaves just Oklahoma (6/7) and Texas (8/8) as the only ranked teams from the Big 12. However, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and West Virginia are receiving votes in at least one of the polls.
Notre Dame decisively beat USC in Week 7. And with that win, the Fighting Irish had the biggest jumps, and USC had the largest drops week-over-week.
