The TCU Horned Frogs take on Baylor on Saturday, November 18. Here are some key players on the Texas team that TCU fans should know before the game.

QB Blake Shapen

Blake Shapen, a former two-sport player, is a big time athlete, has a lot of talent that is often overlooked. Shapen hasn't turned the ball over often and has looked alright this season. However, their offense just has not clicked together, and the Baylor Bears have struggled. Baylor's line has really struggled this season, and Shapen has been sacked multiple times in almost every game. If the Bears can protect him a little better, he could be a problem. The Horned Frogs need to apply pressure on him and make him make mistakes.

RB Dominic Richardson

Dominic Richardson doesn't have many yards, but he is super reliable. He tends to at least get a few yards on most carries. Baylor has a three-headed rushing attack with Richardson, Dawson Pendergrass, and Richard Reese. Each back is pretty different in his own way. TCU needs to slow the run down, or they will try the same game plan they used against us last season.

WR Monaray Baldwin

Monaray Baldwin is one of the most impressive receivers in the Big 12. He is not very big, as he is only 5'9" 170 lbs. Baldwin is super quick and elusive. He makes impressive plays and can break tackles in the open field. TCU needs to keep up with his speed because they struggled to stop the Texas receivers.

LB Matt Jones

Matt Jones is the team's leading defensive player with the most tackles. He has been one of the few bright spots for this Baylor team. Jones has been quick to the ball and really good at slowing offenses down. TCU needs to get to him and the defense early so they don't get established.
