Tennessee Baseball Falls to LSU in Game 1 of the Series

The Tennessee Baseball team is hosting LSU for a weekend 3-game series; both teams could really use a series win.

LSU enters the series with a record of 20-10 (4-5) while the Vols hold a record of 19-10, (3-6).

With both teams towards the bottom of the conference this weekend could springboard one of the clubs into the right direction as there is plenty of time to right a few wrongs and finish strong.

The Tennessee head coach has recently made a few changes that are now seeing positive results as shake-ups in the battling line-up have made it difficult for pitchers.

Elander has also given up his 3rd base responsibilities, and so far, so good.

The Tigers will bat first as LSU is the visiting team, and Tennessee's Landon Mack will open on the mound.
