Tennessee To Host SEC Media Day

In this story:
Media days are the public's opportunity to gauge where their favorite team is at in their preparation for the upcoming season. They hear from the head coach and several difference-makers who will be integral in the coming months.
We have officially learned some details about SEC Media Day this summer. The conference has decided to host the event in Nashville, Tennessee. Tennessee will take the podium on July 20, the event's final day.
South Carolina and Ole Miss will join Tennessee at the podium on July 20. Those two programs have a lot of significance for Volunteer fans; Ole Miss is coached by Lane Kiffin, who spent time in Tennessee as the head coach. Meanwhile, Tennessee has sparked a rivalry with South Carolina after the Gamecocks beat them last season, effectively ending Tennessee's playoff hopes.
There are several early storylines to be interested in for Tennessee. By July, we should know firmly who the starting quarterback will likely be Joe Milton. Heupel will certainly speak about the progress at the position, and he may even opt to bring the starting quarterback along for the trip.
The Volunteers lost a lot to the NFL Draft. Quarterback Hendon Hooker, offensive tackle Darnell Wright, offensive lineman Jerome Carvin, wide receiver Jalin Hyatt, wide receiver Cedric Tillman, and defensive lineman Byron Young were core pieces of the 2022 team, but they are now off to the NFL.
