Tennessee Volunteers forward Jonas Aidoo has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Tennessee forward Jonas Aidoo will enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, according to several reports. Rumors were floating that the talented big man could leave the University of Tennessee, and we've drawn a step closer toward that with Aidoo putting his name on the open market. He's the fourth Tennessee Volunteer that has entered the portal this offseason, leaving the Vols with six open scholarships.

Aidoo spent three seasons with the team and has one year of eligibility remaining. This past season, he averaged 11.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per game, earning first-team All-SEC honors from the press and second-team honors from the coaches. He was a major contributor on the defensive end of the floor during their NCAA Tournament run, making several important stops against the Creighton Bluejays in the Sweet 16.

Tennessee forward Tobe Awaka also entered the portal earlier this week, meaning the Vols have lost their two primary big men from this past season. It should be an interesting journey moving forward as the Vols attempt to build a strong roster ahead of next season.
