2025 four-star defensive lineman Christian Garrett (Bogart, Ga.) has locked in a summer official visit with the Tennessee Volunteers.

Prince Avenue Christian School defensive lineman Christian Garrett has been a national riser since the conclusion of his sophomore season. Tennessee offered ahead of his junior year and has frequently contacted him since then. According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Garrett ranks as the No. 130 prospect in the 2025 class and commands 24 offers ahead of his senior season.

Garrett has traveled to Knoxville, Tennessee, three times throughout his recruitment, including one this past weekend. During these trips, he's developed a close relationship with Tennessee defensive line coach Rodney Garner, enough to get the Vols an official visit for this summer. He and several other premium targets will head to Knoxville on June 21.

He also has official visits set up with the Clemson Tigers and the Georgia Bulldogs. Alabama and Georgia Tech have also made up ground here, but the top three appears to be Clemson, Georgia, and Tennessee, with the first two likely leading the race. The Vols don't have a defensive linemen committed in the 2025 cycle, but that shoud change over the course of the spring and summer, especially considering Garner's track record.
