Tennessee CB Commit Kaleb Beasley Schedules Notre Dame Official Visit

In this story:
Tennessee Volunteers 2024 corner commit Kaleb Beasley has been a part of the Vols' recruiting class since October. He has been on Rocky Top seven times, three more than any other program. However, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish continue to be a thorn in Tennessee's side during this recruitment, and they have secured an official visit from Beasley.
According to Mike Singer of On3, Beasley will be in South Bend on September 22-24, the weekend that the Fighting Irish host the Ohio State Buckeyes. There were murmurs that Notre Dame was making moves in this recruitment, and they get another chance to impress one of the best man-cover corners in America. Beasley told Singer that the driving force behind his interest is the relationships Notre Dame has formed with him. "The relationship is great with Coach [Mike] Mickens, Coach [Chris] O'Leary and Coach Freeman. It's been great. I definitely love Coach Freeman; he knows how to connect with families and his players." Singer also reported that the Auburn Tigers are a player for Beasley's services.

While Beasley continues to weigh his options and see other schools, he remains a firm pledge for Tennessee. The Volunteers, specifically defensive backs coach Willie Martinez, has made an impression on the four-star defender. Before he visited Notre Dame on April 1, fans began to speculate about what it meant for his commitment. Beasley posted to his Twitter account the night before traveling to South Bend. The post entailed three photos, all with references to Tennessee. He captioned the picture, "Home." The Vols offer him a lot; their scheme matches his physical prerequisites, and they run a lot of man blitzes. Beasley's high school, Lipscomb Academy, has become nationally known for letting their corners play bump and run, and Beasley flourishes in that role.
