Nicolai Brooks Sets Commitment Date

In this story:
It's still early to think about the 2025 class, but all attention will be on four-star offensive tackle Nicolai Brooks on Monday. Brooks is a mammoth of a man at 6-8 and 330 pounds as a rising junior in high school. He plays for Buford High School in Georgia, one of the top programs in America.
He released a top ten on April 10 and, just two weeks later, is ready to decide. Brooks visited Alabama, Penn State, Iowa, Iowa State, Clemson, and Florida State over the past two months and is trending toward the Iowa Hawkeyes. Head coach Kirk Ferentz has made an impression on Brooks when he visits, and they are big leaders heading into decision day.
Brooks included the Tennessee Volunteers in his top ten. While it seems unlikely that he will pick them on Monday, that doesn't mean Tennessee is done recruiting him. A host of SEC schools will continue pushing for him until a name is signed on the dotted line; Georgia and South Carolina have him graded well, and Tennessee is quite interested. Brooks is every offensive line coach's dream; he will come into college with unforeseen gifts and a high school pedigree.
His junior tape will be pivotal in whether Brooks becomes a national recruit. He played for Saint Francis High School for the first two seasons of his career before transferring to Buford, meaning he's now going up against the best of the best each week.
