Daniel Calhoun and Tennessee Are "Very Tight"

In this story:
Daniel Calhoun is good. Really good, at that. The four-star offensive linemen has four official visits lined up this summer with some of America's most prestigious programs and has the size to become an early contributor in college.
He recently transferred to Walton High School in Marietta, Georgia, after the head coach at his previous school left. Calhoun's move to 7A has left a lot of coaches intrigued about what he brings to the table: after his senior season he will have the physical requirements and a year at the highest competition level in Georgia.
Dawg Nation recently caught up with Calhoun to discuss his recruitment and transition to a new school. He gave insight into his relationship with each coaching staff and had some telling things to say about Tennessee.
"I talked to coach Josh Heupel yesterday. We were just chopping it up. How was Walton? How was the transition? Just that kind of stuff. They’ve been recruiting me hard. I talk to them about every week so we really have that relationship already really. Really tight."

He's one of the nation's top players, but already knows four of his official visits.
He also knows the UGA staff really wants him to be a 'Dawg. https://t.co/XBWJolH7be pic.twitter.com/a7O9sCMvhy
Head coach Josh Heupel was recently at Walton to check out some prospects during the open period, including Calhoun. He has an official visit set with the Volunteers on June 16, and has three others lined up throughout the summer - Georgia, Texas, and Alabama.
Coaching staffs may want Calhoun to kick inside to guard when he reaches the college level. Calhoun indicated he is comfortable playing anywhere along the offensive line and intends to be the best football player he can wherever he plays.
