AUSTIN - The Texas Longhorns hauled in one of the most impressive recruiting hauls in the country on Early Signing Day last month, coming in with a consensus top-ten class across the board from all four major recruiting services - On3 (No. 6), Rivals.com (No.3), 247Sports (No. 5), and ESPN (No. 5).
Not only that, but they have also reeled in one of the top transfer portal hauls in the nation, adding eight players who should come in and start immediately on the 40 Acres.
That said, the strength of a program's future is built through high school recruiting, and once again Steve Sarkisian has hit a home run there.
