Texas got its second running back commitment for the 2019 class on Sunday night when Ty Jordan pledged his services to the Longhorns.

The West Mesquite running back is shifty, fast and surprisingly-powerful for his smaller frame. He's currently the No. 11 all-purpose back according to 247 Sports.

He chose the Longhorns over the likes of Tennessee, USC, Utah, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, TCU, and Wisconsin among others.

This is what Twitter has to say about the recent commitment.

Jordan is a well-rounded back and could see time in the slot in the Herman offense as well. He's a great compliment to five-star running back Bijan Robinson, who committed to the Longhorns earlier this year.

The Longhorns currently have 19 commitments in the 2020 class. It ranks sixth behind Clemson, Alabaman, LSU, Ohio State and Georgia.
